Marc’s Comment | Our commentary |
This image was made inside an enormous, intimidating sea tunnel. | Bullshit. This cave doesn’t look very big. |
As waves thundered up and down the chamber. | Hey, why not just say 5 foot waves? You’ll find out soon, actually. |
The echos and booms off the walls in this chamber, as long as a football field, made for a wild experience. | Marc just wanted to use the word “wild”. |
You can tell something about the wave action in here by the fact the rock is wet 30ft off the ground! | And there we have it. What an adventurer! Went into a cave with 30 feet waves! Of course the waves are not that big. The cave is wet because of all the mist. Duh. |
The mist in the air from all the water action created the diffusion at the opening you see, which I felt added to effect. | Marc neglected to mention that the mist also created the wetness on the walls. Much better to simply imply that this cave experiences 30 foot waves. |
The cave is located in Oregon and only accessible certain times of the year at the lowest possible tides. | Of course it is. No doubt it is also accessible whenever you buy one of Marc’s Oregon Coast photo tours. |
