Yet another LIE from craven coward & LIAR Marc Adamus: “…At only 29 he is arguably the most talented photographer working today.”


This fraudulent statement/bullshit LIE was found on Amazon.com, where Marc Adamus placed his “calendar” for sale. And he, of course, wrote a line of total bullshit about himself. Note that he wrote it in third person, implying that someone else actually wrote it (Art Wolfe, no doubt):
“Marc Adamus, winner of several Art Wolfe awards is taking photography to new levels, and will stop at nothing to capture an image that defines a place at its most magical moment. At only 29 he is arguably the most talented photographer working today.”
Really? REALLY? With bullshit like this out there, you’d have to be really stupid to be one of the THUGS who writes threats and insults on the Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 blog. Let’s repeat that again, to let it sink in:

Pure bullshit. Pure Marc Adamus. Of course, Marc isn’t talented at something that’s more important: grammar. We’re sure you can spot the missing commas in the Marc Adamus bullshit. We won’t spend any more time on that. The claim about being the “most talented photographer” is far more important. What a crock of shit! Where are statements like this found? In New York publishing houses? No. In magazines across the world? No. So where are they found? On online forums, of course, where the stupid and ignorant drool over Marc Adamus Photoshop creations. Where frauds like Mark Metternich can come in and vomit stuff like ”Marc Adamus is the best that’s ever been and the best that will ever be” (Yes, he did say that).

Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 will not stop until this FRAUD is completely exposed for the LIAR and unethical operator that he really is. We will stop at NOTHING to expose this bullshitter and fake. Let Marc Adamus take notice: we will expose your lying and nonsense inventing ways. You will be the laughingstock of the world for daring to insult the public with this sort of garbage.

So Marc Adamus has REFUSED to protect his copyright, as evidenced by his refusal to accept the Marc Adamus proposal. Let this serve as notice of this coward’s lack of ethics, his willful deceitfulness, his lack of concern for the photography industry, and his vast selfishness:

1. Marc Adamus’ cowardice:
Marc Adamus is afraid that if he enforces his copyright, his workshop sales will drop dramatically. Maybe this is true, and maybe it isn’t. If it is, it goes to show that these pathetic pieces of shit who take Marc Adamus photo tours are inartistic thieves who think that stealing images/compositions and posting them on Flickr/photo.net/photosig/whatever makes them “artists”. Those are not the sort of people any honest man would want to deal with. Copyright violation is theft, period. People have been sued in court for sharing as few as a dozen copyrighted songs. Stealing someone else’s image, especially when done to mimic the original as closely as possible (like piece of shit Floris van Breugel or his loser buddy Steve Sieren is fond of doing) is a far worse offense. These pieces of human refuse should be in court, sued for millions of dollars. Then they will see how much of an “artist” they can be by stealing compositions.

2. Marc Adamus’ lack of ethics
As an extension of his unwillingness to protect his copyright, Marc Adamus condones the theft of other photographers’ images. Because many of these losers fervently believe that Marc Adamus is the finest photographer alive and to ever live, they reason that if Marc allows them to steal his images, it’s more than OK to steal anyone else’s images, too. These losers have created a fantasy in which they claim they’re not violating copyright. This is sheer lunacy and completely unsupported by any case law or reading of US Copyright law. 3. Marc Adamus’ willful deceitfulness.
Marc Adamus fraudulently claims that his style is immediately recognizable. This is completely untrue, considering how many Marc Adamus copying turkeys (Floris van Breugel, Steve Sieren, Kevin Mcneal, Adrian Klein, Zach Schnepf, etc) have nearly exact copies of Marc Adamus images. Also, if Marc were to license any image exclusively to a client, that client would be defrauded as a result of all the Marc Adamus copies floating around out there.

4. Marc Adamus’ lack of concern for the photography industry.
For someone who has often claimed to be a full-time professional photographer (also a false claim, but we digress), Marc has shown no concern for the industry whatsoever. Industry observers have noted that the first victim of bogus photographic practices is the practitioner himself. After that, the rest of the industry suffers too. And so it is with Marc. With his failure to protect copyright equaling a support of image theft, Marc first destroys his own future licensing abilities, and then the licensing futures of other photographers whose images are stolen by Marc Adamus loving idiots. With the right combination of factors coming together in a synergistic fashion, one man can be the cause of enormous damage to an industry. And Marc just doesn’t care. The workshop/ photo tour money is so important to him, the photo.net slobbering is so valuable, that he doesn’t care what the cost is to other photographers. 

5. Marc Adamus is extraordinarily selfish
Marc Adamus only cares about his goal of Being Famous. To hell with anything else! Almost single-handedly, Marc Adamus has started what has become a campaign of de-facto financial terrorism that has dealt millions in damages to the professional photography industry. And who has benefitted? No one. THUGS & pieces of shit like Floris van Breugel, Ryan Dyar, or Miles Morgan have day jobs or rich parents. They don’t care about fair trade or charging a sustainable price for the images they create, ignoring, for the moment, the fact that most of the images in their portfolios are illegally stolen from other photographers. They are willing to give this images way for nothing in exchange for delusional promises of fame or being recognized as an “artist”. Marc Adamus encourages all this with his silence and his condoning of image theft, creation of bullshit to pump up losers, and lying to enhance the pathetic bios of these losers. 

Marc Adamus is a cancer at the heart of the photography industry. Until the entire public knows about, and ridicules this attention whore, thousands of jobs are at stake and an entire industry teeters on the brink. He must be exposed. Support fair trade photography. Avoid Marc Adamus, Flickr, and anywhere these imbeciles spread their filth.

In news that should not come as a complete surprise, Marc Adamus has IGNORED our proposal: Protect his copyright and Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 will cease operations and delete all material. 

Not a peep was heard from Marc regarding what was a perfectly fair and legitimate offer. In fact, it was too generous. Marc Adamus should be protecting his copyright to begin with. Instead, he has shown his true face. Marc Adamus isn't interested in ethical operation. He'd let LOSERS and SCUM like Miles Morgan & Ryan Dyar steal his compositions so he can continue to sell his bogus photo tours/workshops to these boneheads. Whenever Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 is criticized as being unreasonable, remember that we offered a fig leaf to Marc Adamus, and were completely ignored.

In light of this, Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 will now resume normal operations.

We’re sure that Marc Adamus wants to be rid of MAL 2.0, and we’ve got a deal for Marc. 

Start enforcing your copyright, and Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 will cease its operations.

Yep, you’ve heard that right. We have many issues with Marc Adamus, but by far the worst is the fact that he’s allowed various THUGS like Ryan Dyar and Miles Morgan to freely copy his images. This encourages these THUGS to go around and steal even more images from other photographers. It’s a snowball effect. There are hundreds of LOSERS on Flickr who spend their time stealing real photographers’ images and giving them away for free, taking credit for the composition, and otherwise interfering with the legitimate businesses run by legitimate photographers.
Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 simply wants what’s best for the photography industry. With that in mind, we’re willing to compromise with Marc Adamus to reach an acceptable deal for all involved. By stopping the theft of his compositions/images, Marc Adamus can undo the damage he’s encouraged. Our proposal is as follows:


Marc Adamus will:
1. Immediately write a copyright statement which is clearly posted on his website. This statement must make it clear that infringement of his copyright is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Any infringement will result in aggressive legal action.


2. Find every loser & pathetic piece of shit who has copied his images and demand that the images be removed from the web and destroyed. This is actually a pretty straightforward procedure, and entirely within his rights. We will allow 90 days for this to be resolved to 90% or better removal of infringing material. 

3. Marc Adamus cannot tolerate any infringement of his copyright, especially with statements such as “my style is immediately recognizable” available on his site for public consumption. There can be no exceptions. Pieces of crap like Floris van Breugel or Miles Morgan can’t receive exceptions.

4. These conditions are not negotiable. These are things which any serious photographer should be doing in the first place. By agreeing to enforce his copyright, Marc Adamus can show the photography industry that he’s serious about ethical operation and is committed to copyright protection and the right of photographers to protect their work from theft. 

In return, Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 will:
1. Immediately suspend operation of Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 while the 90 day period is running. A statement to the effect that an agreement is pending between MAL 2.0 and Marc Adamus will be posted as the last post on MAL 2.0 blog and on the top of the MAL 2.0 website. 

2. Once the 90 day period is over and infringing material removal has been completed to our satisfaction, the website will be shut down and removed from the Internet, and the blog will be deleted. There will be no further mention of Marc Adamus in any of our material.

3. Loserphotographers.com and associated material will continue to be maintained, with no mentions made of Marc Adamus. There are many fraudulent, stupid, and unethical THUGS out there who must continue to be exposed. In addition, every effort will be made to remove references to Marc Adamus in any past material posted on Loserphotographers.com and Blog.

We are sure that anyone will agree that these terms are perfectly reasonable, and Marc Adamus can only stand to gain by agreeing to them. Considering that Marc Adamus may be out in the field, we will allow 7 days for a response to our proposal. At the end of the 7 day period without a response, the deal will be considered void. MAL 2.0 strongly urges Marc Adamus to carefully consider this deal in relation to how he wants to be seen in the future: an ethical operator who works by the standards of legitimate photographers, or a boastful egomaniac who enables and encourages copyright theft and the destruction of the photography industry by THUGS & LOSERS like Miles Morgan and Ryan Dyar.

Our readers may have noticed that we have not posted in a little over a week. We have been considering a proposition that will be revealed by the end of this week. It will be presented to Marc Adamus, and we hope he considers it seriously. It is a way for Marc Adamus to demonstrate his commitment to a fair, ethical photography industry while preserving his own position. That is all we have to say at this time.
